We started because good bedding was either beautiful or affordable, and the beautiful kind went grey after a winter.
So we buy flax from the same mills in Normandy every season, wash it until it is soft on the first night rather than the tenth, and cut it in sizes that actually fit European beds. Nothing here is made to be replaced next year.
